Top Ten Unputdownable Books

Top Ten Tuesday blog header unputdownable books

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week features a different theme/prompt for which you come up with a list of 10 books. This week’s theme is pretty vague, giving you lots of room to do what you want with it: read in one sitting theme. Basically, you can talk about all sorts of books that people might be able to read quickly: short books, books to read when you’re low on time, etc. I chose to go with “unputdownable” books and highlight some books that are just so good that you won’t want to stop reading. All except one of these books has been reviewed on my blog, so head over to my reviews page if you want to learn more about any of these!

As a side note, I feel like this is mostly just me going “I loved this book” for every single one of these, hahaha. Forgive me 😉

Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR

Top Ten Tuesday blog header 3-14-17

Yay, Top Ten Tuesday is back! It went on a bit of a hiatus and while I completely understand why, I still missed it. Even when I don’t participate, I love reading TTT posts.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week features a different theme/prompt for which you come up with a list of 10 books. This week’s theme is top ten books on your spring TBR. I wasn’t sure whether or not I should stick to spring releases or just include any book I’m hoping to read this spring. I decided to go with the latter since I’ve already talked about most of the spring releases I’m excited for and knowing me, I won’t actually get to any of them soon. So I wanted to take the opportunity to talk about some books you can expect to see me talking about (and hopefully reviewing) within the next few months. I’m also going to try to avoid talking about books that I already mentioned in my March TBR post so I don’t get too redundant.

Top Ten Books I Liked More/Less Than I Thought I Would

Top Ten Tuesday 2/21/17

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week features a different theme/prompt for which you come up with a list of 10 books. This week’s theme is top ten books you liked more/less than you thought you would. I’m pretty sure the intention was to choose one (either more or less), but I decided to go with both and choose 5 for each to make things a little easier for myself.

Top Five Favorite YA Romances | A TTT Failure

Top Ten Favorite YA Romances

I suck at romance stuff. SUCK AT IT. Since today is Valentine’s Day, this week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is supposed to be “all about romance tropes/types” meaning you choose a particular trope and talk about your favorites or something like that. Only problem: I don’t read nearly enough romance to have a trope I love enough that I can list 10 books about it.

So I was going to change this to my favorite YA romance books because I thought for sure that I could come up with a decent number of them, even if I didn’t make it all the way to ten. I managed to come up with 5 and two of those aren’t even 100% romance books. I’m going to talk about them anyway though because they’re all good books that I think are worth mentioning. (I should note that I also considered doing favorite YA couples, but that was an even bigger failure.) So which YA romances do I actually like enough to remember reading?

Top Ten Diverse Books Releasing This Year

Top Ten Diverse Books Releasing in 2017 blog header

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week features a different theme/prompt for which you come up with a list of 10 books. This week is a freebie week so I decided to focus on diverse books releasing this year that I’m looking forward to. I know I’ve talked a lot about 2017 releases and about diverse books on my TBR, so I’m going to try not to be too repetitive here.

Top Ten Tuesday Hidden Gems and Underrated Books 1-17-17

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week features a different theme/prompt for which you come up with a list of 10 books. This week’s theme: top ten hidden gems or underrated books you read recently. I’ve decided to focus exclusively on books I read in 2016, but that weren’t necessarily published in 2016. As usual, links will take you to Goodreads.

2016 Releases I Didn’t Get To (But Totally Plan To Read)

Top Ten Tuesday 1/10/17 2016 Releases I Didn't Get To

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week features a different theme/prompt for which you come up with a list of 10 books. This week’s theme: 2016 releases I didn’t get to but totally plan to read.

Those of you who have been following me for awhile probably know how ridiculously long I could make this list. I buy books like they’re going out of print in 3 days and end up with massive book hauls and not enough time to read them all. And that doesn’t even include the books I want to read but haven’t bought. I’m going to be focusing this list on 2016 releases I bought (or won) that I haven’t gotten to yet, but that I’m hoping to get to at some point this year. As always, links will take you to Goodreads.
