Top Ten Anticipated Releases for the Rest of 2017

Top Ten Tuesday blog header 5-30-17

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week features a different theme/prompt for which you come up with a list of 10 books/ideas. This week’s prompt is top ten most anticipated releases for the second half of 2017. Pretty self-explanatory. It’s going to be a little tricky for me to actually keep it down to a list of ten though, haha. There are tons of books I’m looking forward to that are releasing during the rest of the year. Since I just posted the other day about June releases that I’m looking forward to, I’m not going to include any June releases – that way my posts won’t be too repetitive.

Top Ten Summer Books I’ve Read (Or Want To)

Top Ten Tuesday blog header 5-23-17

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week features a different theme/prompt for which you come up with a list of 10 books/ideas. This week is a summer reads freebie. Here’s the description:

In preparation for Memorial Day (which is always the unofficial summer kickoff for me), let’s rec some summer/beach reads: books to go in your beach bag, best books set in summer, books with summer-y covers, best beach reads for people who don’t enjoy contemporary/realistic reads, best beach reads for fans of X genre, etc. etc.

I’ve decided to talk about some books that are set in summer and split this into 5 books I’ve read and enjoyed that are set in summer and 5 others that I want to read.

As an aside, sorry that I kind of disappeared over the weekend (and yesterday)! I graduated from college and so, as I’m sure you can imagine, was just a little busy, haha. Hopefully, I’m now back to my normal schedule!

What do I want to see in more books? (As a side note: if you happen to have any books recs for any of the things I mention, please let me know!)

Top Ten Things That Make Me Want To Read a Book

Top Ten Tuesday 4/18 things that make me want to read a book

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week features a different theme/prompt for which you come up with a list of 10 books/ideas. This week’s theme is top ten things that instantly make you want to read a book. This can be pretty much anything: words in a title, topics, recommendations from certain people, etc. There are quite a few things that draw me into books, so this should be a pretty easy topic for me!

Top Ten Authors I Want To Meet

Top Ten Tuesday authors I'd like to meet

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week features a different theme/prompt for which you come up with a list of 10 books. This week’s theme is top ten authors you’re dying to meet. Honestly, a lot of these aren’t really authors I’m dying to meet (social anxiety means I’m very rarely eagerly to meet anyone, haha), so that’s why I changed it to simply: authors I want to meet. It’s less urgent 😉

Top Ten Unputdownable Books

Top Ten Tuesday blog header unputdownable books

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week features a different theme/prompt for which you come up with a list of 10 books. This week’s theme is pretty vague, giving you lots of room to do what you want with it: read in one sitting theme. Basically, you can talk about all sorts of books that people might be able to read quickly: short books, books to read when you’re low on time, etc. I chose to go with “unputdownable” books and highlight some books that are just so good that you won’t want to stop reading. All except one of these books has been reviewed on my blog, so head over to my reviews page if you want to learn more about any of these!

As a side note, I feel like this is mostly just me going “I loved this book” for every single one of these, hahaha. Forgive me 😉
