6 (More) LGBTQIAP Books on My TBR

6 more LGBTQIAP books on my TBR

Happy weekend, everyone! A couple of weeks ago I shared 6 LGBTQIAP books that are on my TBR and asked whether you’d be interested in seeing a “part 2” to the post. A few people said they’d like to see another installment, so today I’m back with 6 more LGBTQIAP books I have on my TBR.

Like I mentioned in the previous post, keep in mind that these are all on my TBR. Because I haven’t read them yet, I may not know how good/bad the representation is in these titles. I usually take books off my TBR if I hear the representation isn’t good, but just because I haven’t heard anything bad doesn’t mean there isn’t anything bad. So just keep that in mind!

6 LGBTQIAP books on my TBR

Hi, everyone! Since it’s Pride Month and I will unfortunately not be reading a lot of LGBTQIAP books this month, I wanted to put together a little post about some books that are on my TBR so that I can still do a little promotion for some LGBTQIAP reads.

Full disclosure: since these are all on my TBR and not books I’ve actually read, I can’t speak on how good the representation in these books is. Generally speaking, I remove books from my TBR if I know there’s bad representation, but just because I don’t know about it doesn’t mean it isn’t an issue.

Things That Make Me Uninterested In a Book

things that make me uninterested in a book

Originally I was planning on posting my review of Flame in the Mist today. Buuuut I haven’t been able to get very much reading done recently as I’ve been super busy with school and exhausted from a messed up sleeping schedule so I haven’t finished it yet. So instead, I decided to go back and do the Top Ten Tuesday post from last week that I ended up skipping due to not having enough time to write it. 😛 With that said, let’s talk about some things that make me uninterested in a book.

6 Book-to-Movie Adaptations On My Radar

6 book to movie adaptations on my radar

Book-to-film adaptations can be pretty controversial among bookworms. So many of us get really excited to see stories we read and loved get turned into a movie so we can relive that excitement all over again and see it play out visually. But they can quickly go bad if the movie strays too far from the original story. Personally, I still love watching movies that are based on books I’ve read and loved. Even if it changes a lot of things, I still like to see the movie (I’m not even really sure why). Oftentimes, movie adaptations also offer an extra push for me to finally read books that have been sitting on my TBR for years since I pretty much refuse to watch something that’s based on a book if I haven’t read it yet.

Anyway, all of this is just to introduce you to what I’m talking about today: book-to-movie adaptations that are coming out this year that I want to see (and read). A couple of these have already been released, but most of these are still upcoming. I tried to keep this list to adaptations that have at least announced some casting news just because I feel like at this point in the year, if there’s not even a cast, the movie is probably not actually going to release this year, haha.

5 Things That Make Me Uninterested in Your Blog

5 things that make me uninterested in your blog

Every once in awhile I like to post something about what I do/don’t like about blogs, what I’d recommend for bloggers, etc. and I realized it’s been awhile since I’ve posted something like this. I’ve seen a lot of fellow bloggers talk about what you should do on your blog or what makes them interested in your blog, but I haven’t seen quite as much on the opposite side of that. So I decided to put together a list of a few things that discourage me from following your blog aka things that I don’t like to see on blogs/see bloggers do.

10 Series I Really Need To Finish

I’ve always thought of myself as someone who’s pretty good at finishing series that I started. When thinking about series, I’d always remember the ones that I binge-read, like Divergent and The Hunger Games. I tend to forget those that I’ve neglected. But once I realized that I didn’t finish a single series last year, I also realized there are a lot of series that I’ve fallen behind on and want to finish.
