I was tagged quite awhile ago to do this tag by Eva at Brilliantly Bookish. Her blog is great, so go check it out! Thanks again for tagging me, Eva! 🙂 This tag was created over at Book Princess Reviews – another awesome blog you should take a look at. 🙂
There aren’t really any rules to this. You answer the questions and nominate some people at the end. So let’s get to it!
Mushu from Mulan / Olaf + Sven from Frozen
The Comic Relief – Name your favorite hilarious character or your favorite comedy/funny book
This book isn’t always funny, but it had plenty of moments that made me literally laugh out loud which is pretty impressive to me, considering I almost never laugh when reading.
The Seven Dwarfs from Snow White
I absolutely adored the Dolph Saunder’s group in this book. Every single character was so interesting and had at least a few pages where they got their time to shine. There’s really no other group I could think of that compares!
Pascal from Tangled
The loyal cheerleader chameleon (not a frog, Flynn Rider) – Name a book that started out one way but changed for you
I loved the beginning of this book but, unfortunately, as I got further into it, the humor started to fade for me and I just didn’t enjoy the second half of the book as much as the first. 😦
Meeko from Pocahontas
Pocahontas’s sly and sneaky raccoon friend – Name a plot twist that you did not see coming
Is it totally cliche to use the plot twist at the end of Red Queen? I won’t say exactly what I’m talking about, in case anyone hasn’t read it but is planning to, but those of you who have read it know exactly what I’m talking about!
Rajah from Aladdin / Flounder from The Little Mermaid
Gentle with their princess but protective with everyone else – Name your favorite best friend in a novel
The trio in this book – Taylor, Jamie, and Charlie – was just perfect. They were all so supportive of each other and super kind to one another. I absolutely loved the three of them!
Louis from The Princess and the Frog / Sebastian from The Little Mermaid / Cogsworth, Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, & Chip from Beauty and the Beast
The Musical Bunch – Name a novel where music played a big part or made you want to sing its praises
The only book I can really think of for this is Who She Was by Stormy Smith. Although it wasn’t my favorite book, I really did love how much the author incorporated music into the story!
Maximus from Tangled
The obstacle in Flynn Rider’s way – Name a character that faces a lot of obstacles
The whole crew from Invictus! All of them face so many obstacles when trying to do things, whether it was Far trying to figure out what happened to his mom or Elliott trying to complete her secret mission.
Hamish, Hubert, & Harris from Brave
Favorite family dynamics in a novel
I LOVED the family dynamics in this book! They were so, so realistic. The members of Starr’s family were supportive and loving, yet everyone still had their disagreements. Can’t wait until the movie releases and we can see this on the big screen!
Ray from The Princess and the Frog / 3 Fairies from Sleeping Beauty
The Advice Givers – Book that most impacted your life
I’m having a hard time coming up with a book I read earlier in my life that had a big impact on me, but Starfish is a book that I read recently that really connected with me. It was just so wonderful to read a book about a girl with social anxiety and see her get to still live her life while she tries to learn how to cope with it all. This is definitely a favorite of mine that will stay with me for a very long time!
Hei Hei from Moana
Name a character that steals the show
Bilal from Nyxia totally stole the show for me. This cast was really great in general, but I couldn’t help but be super charmed by Bilal. Even though everyone is fighting tooth and nail for a lifetime of luxury, Bilal is really kind to everyone and very forgiving when he’s wronged. I absolutely loved his character!
Gus & Jaq from Cinderella
Opposites Attract – Name your favorite or worst opposite attracts pairing
I feel like it isn’t really fair to call Celia and Paul opposites, but they’re definitely very different. Although both have had difficult upbringings, the way they deal with their situations is really different. Paul leans on other people, looking for comfort, while Celia completely pushes most people away, refusing to really let them in. So while they’re not complete opposites, I think they fit well for this! I loved them, btw – they’re definitely one of my favorite couples. 🙂
I’m going to tag a few people who have followed me somewhat recently. If any of you don’t want to do this tag or have already done it, feel free to ignore me! And if I haven’t tagged you, but you want to do it, consider yourself tagged. 🙂
