WWW Wednesday (9/20/17)

WWW Wednesday blog header 9-20-17

Hello, everyone! WWW Wednesday is a meme currently hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. It’s very simple: answer the three questions and leave a link on Sam’s post.

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I’m making my way through King’s Cage right now and really enjoying it. I put off reading this for so long for some reason, but I’m so happy that I’m finally reading it. I’ll be meeting Victoria Aveyard this weekend at the Boston Teen Author Festival and I’m SO EXCITED.

What did you recently finish reading?

I’ve recently finished two books. First, I finished reading The Smallest Thing by Lisa Manterfield. This was a really interesting YA contemporary about a small village that gets contaminated by a deadly, unknown virus and gets put under quarantine. You can check out my review if you’d like. Then I read Invictus by Ryan Graudin which was so, so good. If you’re looking for a good time travel and/or sci-fi book, this is a great choice. My review should be up soon!

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m not totally sure. I have two books that I keep going back and forth between, unsure which to pick up next. Monday, I picked up Hillary Clinton’s new memoir, What Happened, from my library and I really want to read this soon since I know I won’t be able to renew it because there are about a million holds on it. But I also want to read Seven Days of Us by Francesca Hornak which comes out in a few weeks. So one of those books will be my next read, but I’m not sure which.

  1. YAS, I’M EXCITED FOR INVICTUS! And I’m glad to hear that it was good — I looooved Wolf by Wolf and have high hopes for its follow-up.

Seven Days of Us also sounds interesting! I’ve been reading tons of adult fiction lately (YA is not cutting it at the moment) and anything family-related is right up my alley. ❤

  2. I wasn’t going to continue the series after Glass Sword, but you’ve made me doubt that decision now haha. Maybe I should just move it back to the TBR pile… Enjoy your books this week and happy reading! Here’s my WWW.
