Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by MizB @ Books and a Beat. Everyone is welcome to join in.

Rules:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two ‘teaser’ sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! You don’t want to give too much away so as to not ruin the book for others!
  • Share the title and author so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers.

28435908Right now I’m reading Laura L. Fox’s upcoming debut novel, Initiate. It’s a YA sci-fi and I have to say I am LOVING it so far. It’s sci-fi but has a lot of dystopian and even mystery elements in it too. It’s so suspenseful and has had me on the edge of my seat. I’ve fallen victim to “just one more chapter” multiple times. I can’t wait to see where the rest of the book takes us.

“The hisses, clicks, and screeches echoed in my mind as if surrounding me with their unknowable message, making it almost impossible to think of anything else as I tried to decipher their meaning.”

    • I usually don’t fall into the “one more chapter” cycle because I just get so tired that I don’t want to be up anymore, but this book has me wanting to keep turning the pages!
I hope they stop sending you to spam soon! You might want to try asking people to check their spam folders and mark your comments as safe if you haven’t already because I know that’s helped some other bloggers stop being put in spam 🙂
